Today you took a formative assessment on the hero's journey and the archetypes of the hero, damsel in distress, and creature of the nightmare. You had to read the myth of Hercules in order to complete the formative. Next class we will discuss this myth as well as the archetypes and the hero's journey. You have NO homework this weekend!

Today we corrected the unit rate homework from last class and then took lesson 6-2 on Proportions. We learned to solve for a proportion, we must have 4 numbers (we usually have 3 and a variable)and we manipulate it to turn it into an algebra problem so that when we diagonally divide, both sides of the proportion would be equal.
Homework is in the workpackage Practice 6-2 #1-19 odds only.
There will be no grade 7 classes tomorrow, but it remains a day 1. Students will therefore be responsible for having their homework done for Sundays (day 2) class.

One political cartoon should be completed and colored for next class. We will make one more next class. I saw a lot of good (and funny) ideas today! Remember, this is not art class, and you will not be assessed on your artistic talent. But I can EASILY tell the difference between lack of perfect talent and lack of EFFORT. Make it neat and nice!
